Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xi'an

A true 5 star hotel. I genuinely did not expect this. There are 2 Sofitels in this complex (Renmin square and Legend). This review is for the Legend. Firstly, truly excellent staff. Everyone was professional, kind, attentive, and go the extra mile every time! A special thank you to Butler Fancy, who went above and beyond for my wife and I. The hotel is immaculate. All areas are pristine, especially the rooms. Our room was fantastic and everything was extremely clean. The exterior grounds are just as immaculate as the internal spaces. Breakfast options were great, bar has a happy hour, location was only a few minutes taxi from all the main spots. I usually do leave reviews for hotels, but they are short and succinct. However, I felt the need to rate this property and its staff as best as I could. This was the best hotel we encountered on our China trip. It would be a pleasure to go back there!

Almost everything - perfect location and historical fill of the place , very comfortable and spacious room. It was like staying in a country side hotel even as it is located in the mid of the large city

Luxury hotel, equal or superior to some of the finest and most exclusive hotels I've used in France, Germany, Italy, USA and Turkey. Remodeled huge rooms/suites with classic European styling. Much much better than any Sofitel I've ever stayed in. Staff were attentive, polite, and always going out of their way to help. Incredible value. Relatively close to major attractions in the city.

Central location, friendly staff helpful for booking taxis, good breakfast à la française, cozy rooms stylishly decorated while providing modern comfort. Kudos for the well-stocked evening cocktail on the 7th floor.

The stay was really perfect, especially because of the amazing and very attentive staff - always ready to support, everyone was doing their best throughout the day to make it enjoyable. Whenever you would leave the room, you would come back and find it cleaned, some sweets and other small treats added, the minibar re-filled. Very comfortable room and bed.
